ILVA maintains revenue and improves its result by DKK 30.2 million

The Danish furniture retail chain ILVA improves its result for the year by DKK 30.2 million to a loss of DKK 13.5 million and maintains revenue at DKK 1.4 billion. During the year, ILVA has focused on improving the efficiency of the business and invested in the development of its stores and digital platforms.

ILVA’s annual report for 2025/26 shows an improvement in the result of DKK 30.2 million to a loss of DKK 13.5 million, compared with a loss of DKK 43.7 million in 2024/25. Revenue amounts to DKK 1,433 million, compared with DKK 1,436 million in 2024/25.

The improvement reflects the work on ILVA’s NOVA strategy, which has two parallel focus areas: strengthening the profitability of the existing business while investing in a better customer experience and future growth.

“We have set a clear direction for ILVA, and I am pleased to see that the changes we have implemented are reflected in this year’s result. We are improving the result by more than DKK 30 million and maintaining revenue, while investing in the development of ILVA. I am pleased with the progress we have made, and we must now continue this development and build on it,” says Kim Møller Mønster, CEO of ILVA.

ILVA has optimised its stores, product range, and inventory to improve operational efficiency and strengthen profitability, while five stores have been renovated with a focus on improving the customer experience. The ambition is to create an ILVA where customers feel at home and find inspiration to create a personal home. The work continues in the new financial year, in which one additional store has been renovated and four are expected to be updated to the new concept.

“We want to be the natural choice for customers looking for inspiring products and good quality at attractive prices. Our ambition is to create an ILVA where customers feel at home, and where inspiration, product range, and advice create a strong and cohesive customer experience. At the same time, this should support the continued development of the business,” says Kim Møller Mønster.

ILVA has strengthened its use of customer insights and customer data to better target its product range and communication, while also investing in a new website, where a tenfold increase in the number of product images gives customers a better opportunity to explore the product range and find inspiration. The investments are intended to strengthen ILVA’s market position and create a more cohesive customer experience across stores and digital channels.

Continued focus on profitable growth

Going forward, ILVA will continue to develop its stores and build on the investments in the customer experience, with the aim of creating a profitable business.

“I would like to thank all our employees for their commitment and efforts throughout a year of major change. Their willingness to take responsibility, challenge established practices, and improve the business has been crucial to the progress made this year. We still have work ahead of us, and the contribution of our employees is essential to maintaining the positive development,” says Kim Møller Mønster.
