JYSK and Lars Larsen Group donate DKK 1 million to Knæk Cancer
Again this year, JYSK and Lars Larsen Group are donating DKK 1 million to Kræftens Bekæmpelse (Danish Cancer Society) in connection with TV 2’s fundraising show ‘Knæk Cancer’ to support research projects, prevention, and patients living with cancer.
According to Kræftens Bekæmpelse, four in ten people in Denmark will develop cancer before the age of 80. Approximately 420,000 people in Denmark are living with or have had cancer, and even more are close to someone affected by the disease.
Cancer research ensures advances and the development of new treatment options, which means that more people survive cancer. Although research continues to achieve new results, there is still a considerable need for support for further research projects in the fight against cancer.
“Cancer affects many people, both those living with the disease and those close to them. By supporting Knæk Cancer, we want to contribute to research, prevention, and better support for patients and their families,” says Jesper Lund, President & CEO of Lars Larsen Group.
“Through our support for Knæk Cancer, we want to make a real difference for people affected by cancer and contribute to the research and initiatives that drive progress, bring hope, and create better opportunities for both patients and those close to them,” he concludes.
How the Knæk Cancer funds will be used in 2026
